Terms of Service
Welcome to Jai Jai's Travel! By booking travel services through us, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
Definitions
- Client: Refers to the individual booking travel services with Jaime Mendez, and/or Jai Jai's Travel.
- Agency: Refers to Jai Jai's Travel, and Jaime Mendez, the provider of travel planning and booking services.
- Supplier: Refers to third-party providers of travel-related services such as airlines, cruise lines, hotels, and tour operators.
Scope of Services
- Jai Jai's Travel, and Jaime Mendez, act as an intermediary between the client and travel suppliers (ex. Airlines, cruise lines, hotels, tour operators, etc.).
- We assist with the booking of cruises, flights, accommodations, and additional travel services such as pre/post-cruise stays in London.
- All travel services are subject to availability and the terms and conditions of the respective suppliers.
Payment and Fees
- A non-refundable deposit may be required to secure bookings.
- Full payment deadlines will be communicated at the time of booking.
- Payments can be made via Credit or Debit Card as accepted by supplier.
Changes and Cancellations
- Client-Initiated Changes: Changes requested after booking may incur additional fees.
- Cancellations: Cancellation policies vary depending on the supplier. Clients acknowledge that all cancellations are subject to the specific cancellation policies of each travel supplier and the client agrees to comply with and is financially responsible for all said cancellation fees. Jaime Mendez, and Jai Jai’s Travel, also assesses a non-refundable cancellation fee of $100 per person, which must be paid directly. This fee is charged in addition to any penalties assessed by suppliers and applies to all cancellations without exception
- Agency’s Right to Cancel: Jai Jai's Travel, and Jaime Mendez, reserves the right to cancel bookings due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, clients will receive a full refund of agency fees.
Concierge Planning Fee
- Jai Jai’s Travel may charge a Concierge Planning Fee, starting at $50 per person and increasing based on the complexity, customization, and time required to curate the itinerary.
- This fee is assessed upfront, prior to research or planning and is non-refundable, regardless of whether the client proceeds with booking.
- The Concierge Planning Fee covers time, research, consultation, and professional expertise, and is not applied as a credit toward future travel.
Airfare-Only Planning Fee
- For bookings consisting of airfare not included in a package, Jai Jai’s Travel charges a separate Airfare booking Fee, beginning at $50 per person and increasing depending on routing, airline requirements, and itinerary complexity.
- This fee is non-refundable and is due upfront before any flight research or booking is initiated.
- This fee is independent of any airline-imposed fees, fare rules, or changes.
Travel Insurance
- Jai Jai's Travel ,and Jaime Mendez, strongly recommends purchasing travel insurance to cover unforeseen events such as cancellations, medical emergencies, and lost luggage.
- Jai Jai’s Travel and Jaime Mendez are not responsible for any losses or expenses not covered by insurance, that is the sole responsibility of the clients.
Responsibilities and Liabilities
- Jai Jai's Travel, and Jaime Mendez, is not liable for:
- Acts or omissions of suppliers.
- Errors or service failures by suppliers.
- Delays, cancellations, or disruptions caused by weather, strikes, or other events beyond our control.
- Cancellations resulting from incomplete or incorrect documentation.
- Missed flights, cruises, or other services due to the client negligence.
- The client is responsible for:
- Paying all required deposits and balances within the specified deadlines. Non-payment may result in the cancellation of services, for which the client is fully responsible.
- Ensuring their travel documents (passports, visas, etc.) are valid and up-to-date for the entirety of their trip.
- Complying with all destination-specific entry requirements, including but not limited to passport and visa regulations, required vaccinations, medical certifications, customs protocols, and any additional mandates issued by the country of travel. The traveler acknowledges that meeting these requirements is solely their obligation, and Jaime Mendez, and/or Jai Jai’s Travel, is not liable for any denial of entry, travel interruptions, or any other consequences arising from non-compliance.
- Comply with any travel advisories, restrictions, or safety guidelines.
Limitations of Liability
Jai Jai's Travel, and Jaime Mendez, is not liable for:

- Disruptions due to events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, political instability, strikes, or pandemics.
- Acts or omissions of suppliers or other third parties.
- Service interruptions, cancellations, changes, or Typographical errors or pricing discrepancies provided or initiated by suppliers.
- Financial or personal losses, including but not limited to, missed connections, lost luggage, theft, delays, or financial losses caused by suppliers or third parties.
- Typographical or informational errors on websites, itineraries, or supplier materials.
- Jai Jai's Travel is not responsible for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages resulting from travel arrangements.
- Jai Jai's Travel is not responsible for any issues arising from the client’s behavior, including non-compliance with supplier rules, local laws, or customs regulations.
- Jai Jai's Travel will make every effort to mediate disputes between clients and suppliers but cannot guarantee outcomes favorable to the client.
Any issues must be submitted to Jai Jai’s Travel, or Jaime Mendez, in writing within 30 days of the conclusion of the trip.
Special Requests
- Jai Jai's Travel, and Jaime Mendez, will communicate special requests (e.g., dietary needs, accessibility requirements, connecting rooms, etc.) to suppliers as provided by the client, but fulfillment is not guaranteed.
Agreement to Supplier Terms
- By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, clients also agree to comply with the Terms and Conditions of all suppliers, tour operators, cruise lines, airlines, hotels, and any other travel service providers used for their booking.
No Chargebacks / Payment Authorization
- By authorizing payment, you agree to the following:
- I hereby authorize Jaime Mendez and/or Jai Jai’s Travel to charge my credit card (or other approved form of payment) for the amount indicated on my invoice or authorization form. I acknowledge and agree to Jaime Mendez, and Jai Jai’s Travel’s, Terms and Conditions of Booking, including all supplier and agency cancellation, refund, and change policies, which may limit my right to a refund in the event I cancel or change my travel plans.
- I understand that charges may appear on my statement from the travel supplier or from Jaime Mendez, and/or Jai Jai’s Travel, depending on the nature of the transaction.
- I agree that I will not dispute or initiate any chargeback with my credit card company for any authorized transaction. Any dispute regarding charges or refunds must be addressed directly with Jaime Mendez, and/or Jai Jai’s Travel, and/or the applicable travel supplier in accordance with the stated policies.
- By signing or electronically approving payment, I confirm that I am the authorized cardholder, that all information provided is true and correct, and that I have read, understood, and accepted these terms.
Privacy Policy
- Personal information collected during the booking process will only be used for travel-related purposes.

Acknowledgment
By booking with Jaime Mendez, and Jai Jai's Travel, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions, as well as the terms and conditions of all travel suppliers involved in your booking. By proceeding with your booking, you acknowledge and agree that Jaime Mendez, and Jai Jai’s Travel, act solely as intermediaries and are not liable for any acts, errors, omissions, injuries, losses, damages, delays, or irregularities caused by any supplier or third party. You further agree to waive the right to pursue legal claims or actions against Jaime Mendez, and/or Jai Jai’s Travel, arising from such circumstances.
